IBA were commissioned in August 2011 to produce designs to refurbish and extend an existing Care Home to provide accommodation for a GP Practice and PCT offices and associated clinical space.

The project was procured under the Lift Co arrangement with the demolitions, alterations, extension and refurbishment to create the Centre being completed within a very tight timescale of 28 weeks to allow the Centre to open in April 2012. The centre provides a large waiting area, together with 10 Consulting Rooms, Treatment Rooms, associated admin space, Meeting Rooms and PCT offices.

This was a challenging project but through the partnering ethos the project was completed on time and within the original budget.
