Established in 1964 IBA Architects is a Royal Institute of British Architects Chartered Practice Created by Ian Belsham. Our Ethos remains the same now as when the practice was established, working in partnership with our clients to deliver quality architecture and to enhance the quality of life and the built environment. We are a small practice, so each project is treated with personal care and generous attention to detail.

From our base in the North East of England we design buildings throughout the UK that respond to the clients’ brief. We enhance the experience of buildings users within the programme and budgetary constraints.

Our drive is to achieve results beyond expectations which is reflected in the repeat business and referrals for new projects. Teamwork is a key element in the success of any project and we place great value in establishing good close collaboration both within and outside our company.
