34-40 Grey Street Newcastle

34-40 Grey Street was a 4 storey grade 2* listed office building in the heart of Newcastle but unsuited to the needs for modern office accommodation.
After negotiations with the planning officers, IBA obtained planning approval for new 5 storey offices with basement parking developed behind the retained and refurbished stone main street facade with a newly designed entrance to the upper floor offices.
The construction project was subsequently managed by IBA and included the fit out of several of the floors.
